New Book by Deacon Don Chubb Tells how Episcopal Church contributed to Growth of Topeka

The Rev. Don Chubb is a Topeka native, businessman, long time deacon of Grace Cathedral, and a local historian. In his new book Resilient Heritage: The Episcopal Church in Topeka: The College of the Sisters of Bethany, Christ’s Hospital, Grace Cathedral, and St. David’s, he paints stories behind how Episcopal churches and institutions, through times of boom and of destruction, contributed to the growth and thriving of the capital city.
