Updates on diocesan clergy since the last issue of The Harvest.
The Reverend Barbara Adams, former Deacon at St. Thomas the Apostle (Overland Park), passed away August 1, 2022.
The Reverend Tom Baker was appointed Shepherd of the All Saints Minster, made up of St. Aidan’s (Olathe), Grace (Ottawa), and St. Francis of Assisi in the Pines (Overland Park).
The Reverend Jonathan Brice has been appointed Shepherd of the Kansas River Minster, made up of St. Paul’s (Kansas City), St. Michael and All Angels (Mission), St. Thomas the Apostle (Overland Park), and St. Luke’s (Shawnee).
The Reverend Mary Donovan has been appointed Vicar of Grace Church in Ottawa.
The Reverend Charles Durland was appointed Shepherd of the Little Church on the Prairie Minster, consisting of St. Paul’s (Coffeyville), Epiphany (Independence), and Ascension (Neodesha).
The Reverend Anne Flynn retired as deacon at Grace Cathedral and Archdeacon of the western convocations of the diocese.
The Venerable Monte Giddings was re-appointed Archdeacon, and will now serve the northern convocations of the diocese.
The Reverend Dillon Green, former curate of the Wichita Minster, serving at St. James and St. John’s in Wichita, accepted a position as Associate Rector of St. Matthew’s in Madison, AL. His last day in the Diocese of Kansas was September 30.
Parker Liam Mather, son of the Rev. Ashley and Taylor Mather, was born Sunday, August 14, at 5:04 pm in Ellensburg, Washington.
The Reverend Neil Macintosh, former rector of St. Paul’s in Coffeyville, passed away October 26, 2022.
The Reverend Gail Reynolds has retired. Her last service at St. Paul’s, Kansas City was Dec. 4.
The Venerable Jeff Roper was appointed Archdeacon and will serve the southern convocations of the diocese.
The Very Reverend Casey Rohleder was appointed Dean of the Northwest Convocation to replace The Reverend Vicki Smith who retired earlier this year.
The Reverend Marco Serrano was appointed Shepherd of the Free State Minster, consisting of St. Margaret’s (Lawrence), St. Martin in the Field (Edwardsville), Trinity (Lawrence), and Canterbury House of Lawrence.
