Trinity Episcopal Church, El Dorado, celebrated Trinity Sunday with a baptism, held outside in the church’s prayer garden and labyrinth. Lunch followed, honoring and celebrating the newly baptized and the Trinity community.
The church continues to partner with The Family Life Center Safe House in providing them with administrative offices as they provide trauma-informed support to adults and children experiencing domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Recently, Trinity’s Saint Margaret’s Nursery was renovated through a grant from the Central Kansas Community Foundation and a memorial donation from a parishioner. Child Advocates utilized the newly renovated space, outfitted with parent-and-child learning and therapy stations, to help build life skills, foster bonding, and promote cognitive development. The nursery is also available, including learning stations for children, here on Sundays.
Pets increase the quality of life, reduce depression, anxiety, and loneliness through companionship. People of modest means often prioritize the care of their pets before attending to their own needs. Connection and companionship are that important. This is the premise of Priscilla’s Pet Pantry, Trinity’s community outreach program, which provides free pet food and supplies to those in need. Priscilla’s Pet Pantry recently partnered with Paws in Oz to offer free vaccinations. Twenty-one pets were vaccinated, and 166 pets received free food.
