The Archbishop of Canterbury announces a call to prayer for the Lambeth Conference on Trinity Sunday – June 12th 2022

The Lambeth Conference theme of ‘God’s Church for God’s World’, reminds us that we are called upon as Christians to pray for the needs of the world.

When the bishops and their spouses gather for the Lambeth Conference in July this year, they will devote time for prayer and discussion about church and world affairs.

Bishops will discuss a number of topics, including mission and evangelism, peace and reconciliation, the environment and sustainable development, discipleship, inter faith relations and more.

Meeting with bishops from all around the world, the conference will be an important opportunity to learn from one another’s contexts and consider ways to work together in sharing the hope of the gospel around the world.
