The All Things … Episcopal Podcast originally started as part of the College and Young Adult Commission of The Diocese of West Missouri in 2023, and formed a partnership with The Diocese of Kansas in 2024. The podcast was designed with young adults in mind as a place to learn more about The Christian faith through the Episcopal lens.
The combined efforts of both dioceses seek to provide listeners with fresh perspectives on the Episcopal expression of the Christian faith, reach a wider audience, and reinforce what it means to be an Episcopalian as a young adult in an ever-changing world.
The Rev. Clare Stern-Burbano, Curate for Campus Ministry in the Diocese of Kansas, said, “I am extremely excited about this partnership. Both dioceses have a strong commitment to the faith formation of young people. And even though our dioceses are different in demographics and ways of doing ministry, we are united as laity, deacons, priests, and bishops in our mission to reconcile all persons with God and our neighbors through Christ. This ministry just happens to be on the airwaves instead of a Nave.”
With the partnership, several members from each diocese now cohost the podcast, including Clare Stern-Burbano (Kansas), Hayley Cobb (West Missouri), the Rev. David Wilcox (West Missouri), the Rev. Karen Schlabach (Kansas), and the Rev. Caroline Howard (Kansas).
The podcast released its first episode under the new partnership on November 21, 2024, titled “New Season, New Partnership for All Things…Episcopal.” New episodes are posted every 2-3 weeks.
